Winter and Spring: Relatively mild and dry, with an early vegetative start in some areas.
Summer: Warm, but not as extreme as in 2022. July saw some heat waves, while August was more balanced, with good temperature swings between day and night—ideal for Nebbiolo development.
September and October: Crucial months for Nebbiolo. Early autumn favored phenolic ripening, with sunny days and cool nights that promoted aroma development and quality tannins. However, in some areas, late October rainfall required a more careful and selective harvest.
